Ms. Bauman's amazing ring. This is the coolest thing ever! I have recently obtained a fetish for rings. Although I never wear any... :) I'll be making a post about this awesome jewelry company that makes the most magnificent rings.

 The architecture in Old Town is awesome! The buildings all have this vintage-y feel but the stores inside are all modern!

We stopped at Einstein Bros Bagels for their Everything bagels. YUMMMMMM. :)

School Style//march 3, 2011

I know that Catherine was super excited to wear this jacket, and I must say, it's pretty fresh. It's an olive colored bomber jacket. She's pretty brave to have opted for this color when she could have chosen a classic black.

School Style//march 2, 2011

One of my favorite people in the world! Kyle always has amazing looks. His style is so chic and understated.  I wish I could have taken the shot with Kyle's Marc by Marc Jacobs tote; it's puffy, graffitied and incredibly usable for school.

 (Marja- Nordstrom jacket, Forever 21 jeans) Oxfords have become a big trend at school. I think it's because it's so versatile and can amp up the whole 'I'm unbelievably intelligent, preppy, good-looking' thing. Actually that last part is just what I think. :) 

These are my well worn Steve Madden oxfords. As you can see, the front part is all scraped up. But there's a quick fix for this! Before you start wearing your pair, take clear nail polish and apply it to all the parts of your shoe that you think will come in contact with the ground. This is, of course, excluding the sole. You probably want to get a good coat on the front and heel of your shoes. Since we're on the topic of clear nail polish and its wonders, I'll continue. If you have a tear in your tights (SUPER ANNOYING! Especially if its your first time wearing them!), just apply a clear coat to the rip and the surrounding area and it won't run. (I learnt this from my friend who's a dancer and has to cut her tights so that they're footless) 

 (Ivie- Anthropologie shirt) Ivie always has the cutest, vintage shoes which she often inherits from her equally fashion forward mother.

 (Katie- Forever 21 shirt, Forever 21 skirt) I'm in the midst of trying to convince Katie to be a model! Don't you think she'd be perfect? You probably can't tell from the picture, but she's around 176 cm. (I actually don't know, but I'll ask her tomorrow!)

 (Ben- Dad's sweater, Levi's jeans, Adidas shoes) Need I say anything about Ben? His outfits are always eclectic. He's pairs up clothes that I would never think of putting together and then rocks it! (most of the time. ;)

I wish everyone would wear tights, socks and oxfords at least once a week! It's such an adorable look!

 (Madison- Toms shoes) Where in God's name did she get these shoes? Their magical and absolutely perfect for the upcoming dance, whose theme is Jungle Fever.

(Dolly- Converse shoes) I've tried countless times to get my Converse to look this perfectly worn in and have always gotten sick of the color, end up purchasing another pair and having to dirty them up all over again. It's so smart to buy classic colors! But I think I'd be too tempted to draw on them if they were white... (My bright blue chucks are all doodled on)
